You are carrying too much, and it shows

in your body, your mind, and your heart

Work, home, kids, and caring for your parent all pull at you at once. You want calm, clear help, but most days feel crowded and rushed. The biggest roadblock is the heavy mental load, and the stress keeps you stuck in guilt, worry, and doubt. You feel completely overwhelmed.

That roadblock is painful because it steals your peace and makes each choice feel hard. You keep trying to hold everyone up, yet your own needs keep getting pushed aside.

You have likely tried lists, advice from others, quick tips, and just pushing through. Some help for a moment, but then the same stress comes back because the root issue is not time alone. It is trying to do too much with too little inner strength left.

You may also keep hearing that you should be able to handle this on your own. That thought can make you stay silent, even when your heart is asking for compassionate care.

What you may feel most is tired, stuck, and sad that you cannot give more in every place. You may look fine on the outside while feeling worn thin inside. That kind of pressure can make even small tasks feel huge.

And what’s worse- it can feel like you’re totally alone on this journey and missing a key piece of the puzzle that everyone but you seems to have gotten the inside scoop on.

You deserve support that helps you care with dignity and still stay close to yourself. Empowerment should feel simple, human, and steady, because your life matters too.

navigating the dementia journey: wellness strategies for families and caregivers

seven week workshop

Caregiving starts at your full potential

When my Mom's dementia progressed and she really needed me as a caregiver, I felt my whole life shift. My heart was heavy, my head was tired, and my energy felt used up. Have you felt that too? I did not know how to hold steady, and I thought I had to carry it all by myself.

My feelings came fast. Worry, guilt, sadness, anger, and shame all showed up at once. My mind felt crowded, my body felt heavy, and my joy got very quiet. Even my close bonds felt strained because I had so little left to give.

I know how that feels. I have stood in that place, trying to smile while my inner strength felt far away.

Then I made a choice. I stopped brushing my pain aside and started healing from the inside out. I cared for my mind, my body, my heart, my soul, and my daily life with real compassionate care and hope. Little by little, empowerment grew. I found my footing again.

That shift changed everything. I became a stronger caregiver, a calmer daughter, and a more present person. I learned that you can support your loved one and still protect your own well-being. That is where inner strength begins.

Now I share the lessons I learned, the wisdom I gained, and the skills I studied so you can feel more steady too. You deserve support. You deserve peace. You deserve a path that honours both you and the person you love.

If my journey speaks to you, I want you to know this: you are not behind, and you are not alone. I'll be here to walk with you, and I'm here to make sure your results are even better.

This seven week workshop gives steady support for the woman who is carrying dementia care, family care, home, work, and her own heart at the same time. It brings empowerment, inner strength, and compassionate care into one calm and useful place.

The ME FIRST Methodology is the heart of this service. This is practical support with heart. The workshop provides you with a multitude of practical tools and techniques for use in your daily life and in your Dementia caregiving. There are exercises and homework so you can start using the tools right away.

The work we do together helps you face hard days with more calm and more confidence. It also helps you stop putting your every need last, which can feel like a very long habit to break. I have seen how much lighter people feel when they finally have a plan that speaks to the full person, not just the care task.

MAYBE THIS SOUND FAMILIAR

TO YOU AS WELL?

My emotions were everywhere.  I had no dominion over them.  They took over my life - overwhelm, guilt, sadness, anger, betrayal, frustration, shame, confusion, fear…. And the list goes on

My mental state was a mess. I couldn’t put two thoughts together. I didn’t know if I was coming or going. I was so depressed. My optimism, positivity and zest for life had vanished

My physical wellness suffered. First of all, I didn’t see how I could fit in time to take care of myself. And everything else compounded and got locked up in my body

My relationships suffered. There was no time for anyone else. And if there was time, I wasn’t great company

If this sounds like you,

don't worry - we can help!
